Taste and See

Founded in 2009. 

Taste and See began as a small artisan confectionery company in 2009. Built around the ideals of family and faith, the dream of owning a candy company came true for the owners. Taste and See began with the dream of a child owning their own candy store over 40 years ago. After years of perfecting recipe after recipe it was time to share the joy we had creating these confections with the public. Starting out small in Ashdown Arkansas, Taste and See grew into a much larger company and began to add more and more chocolates, candies, and other confections to their menu. A move from their original location to Texarkana, Texas was made in 2012. Shortly after opening the new location in Texas we added more great products to our candy store. With the addition of gelato (made fresh right in our store) we were able to make our shop even sweeter. About a year later we decided to add coffee to our menu. The whole bean coffee and espresso fit together perfectly with our already growing line of artisan confections. So stop in for some chocolate, gelato, or a cup of our signature espresso!
Fundraising opportunities are also available. We provide schools, churches, and groups the ability to raise funds by selling our coffee and fudge. Please check out our fundraising page or give us a call at 903-792-1468 for more details!

 

People often ask "Where did you come up with the name Taste and See?" That is a very simple answer. Prayer. When choosing a name a verse spoke to them more so than any other. That verse is Psalms 34:8 "Oh Taste and See that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trust in him" It has taken a lot of faith and trust to be able to bring Taste and See to everyone. So between the chocolate, coffee, tea, and gelato you can definitely Taste and See the difference.


Allergy Information

Allergy Information Does your chocolate contain dairy products? ALL of our dark, milk, and white chocolate may contain dairy or milk products. Any person with a dairy allergy should NOT consume ANY of our products. Does your chocolate contain nuts? ALL of our products including solid chocolate pieces may contain nuts and/or peanuts. Any person with a nut allergy should NOT consume ANY of our products...

Does your Gelato contain dairy? Yes, all of the Gelato contains dairy. The Sorbetto is dairy free however! Some of our products can come in contact with nuts so anyone with allergies should always let us know before trying a flavor. 

 

Shipping and Contact Information

 

We offer shipping by UPS via check out. Not serviced by UPS? No problem, contact us directly for a different shipping option. We welcome Corporate orders. Please contact us by phone or email for quote on price and shipping.

NOTE: Orders typically ship out the next business day throughout the year. All of our orders are shipping next day or 2 day per your choice of shipping (standard shipping is available during the cooler months). This is so you get your product in a timely manner. It can be very hot here in Texas during late spring through fall. We want your product to get to you quickly so that it doesn't melt (the inside of shipping trucks can be HOT!). Please contact us if you need other shipping arrangements made.
